Performance Coaching
Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person, the coach, supports a client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance. It is goal orientated and about developing the path to achieve the desired goals. The path to achieving the goal is reviewed from time to time, and is modified as required.
The S.M.A.R.T. acronym is often used in coaching, reminding us that any goals that are set should be – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-based. N.L.P. techniques are used extensively in coaching, so there is a significant connection between these two modalities. Hypnotherapy techniques can also be used to help achieve the required goals.
Coaching may relate to any goals you have in life, and creating a realistic plan to achieve the desired goal. Performance Coaching can be attached to any activity that is perceived as being a performance. This could relate to many things, but commonly cover public speaking, sports and musical performances.
